Art realisations came relatively late (around forty), and I successively makes sculpture at Atelier Saint Fargeau in eastern Paris, then drawing and painting in Saint-Denis studio where I am now.
I practice as much as possible outdoors drawing to learn how to quickly capture a mood, a gesture or an attitude, then the atmosphere of a landscape that is offered to me.
But the main source of my inspiration is definitely the studio slots with models. So far it is the habit of generations of painters who preceded me (eg Matisse was working all his lifetime once a week with a model). I also like the atmosphere of friendship of this place when we meet 2 or 3 times a week. With my friends we like chatting, sharing a bottle of wine, or still enjoying the story of one’s trip.
